Linda and her husband, Roy, removed old outdated wall tiles, smoothed the walls and painted them a light grey. Some space saving items (which they built themselves) were added. All plastic handles and trims were spray painted to a more “modern” black. A few cabinets were moved around and the kitchen island was removed to allow more space.
This was the biggest change to Linda and her hubby’s kitchen since they moved in 18 years ago. Their only real splurge was on the mosaic trim. Curtains and various other items were made by Linda – a true DIY kitchen.
